We're making it happen !!!
"Thousands of rational, free-thinking
and assertive citizens are rallying to our call, dedicated
to creating a better, more just, secure and bountiful
Hawai'i.
Change = Leadership... I
led fighting paratroopers in Vietnam, and we survived. I
led and won Hawaiian Civil Rights Supreme Court cases. I
negotiated three Hawai'i County Council leadership changes
in 2004, 2005 and 2006. I fought and won equal council meetings
for East and West Hawai'i. I've proven I can lead a new and
better Hawai'i."

"As Mayor, my only motivation
is the public good and the peoples' benefit. My council
accomplishments show I lessen pessimism and encourge
people to make positive decisions. I will appoint a vibrant
cabinet driven by a strong sense of service for the public
good. They will be balanced, represent various areas
of our Island and will respond effectively and in a timely
manner to our peoples' needs. "

Get a Mayor with NEW IDEAS !!!
"We
will be aggressive and do work, eg: Housing Deparment:
Build affordable housing near work places to minimize
traffic. Planning Department: Effect impact fees and
concurrency. Creat a new Energy Sustainability Department.
Make County lands available and form partnerships for
medical clinics. These are some programs I commit to
for building a sustainable Hawai'i."

Get a new Mayor who's tough !!!
"I stand for strong enforcement
and firm prosecution. I'll work diligently to give police,
firefighters, first responders and teachers the incentive
for affordable housing. "
